Dedicated to all those who lost their lives while defending Croatia's freedom, with a Glagolitic text saying: ‘He who dies justly, shall live forever.’ The creator of this monument is Pula-born sculptor Šime Vidulin. The monument is carved out of Istrian stone from Kanfanar and is 9.5 metres tall and weighs 40 tons.
