On opposite side of the walls of the Old Town the palace was built in the 17th century, the representative of the baroque palace. It was rearranged in the Rococo style by Jakob Erber and kept the form until present day. It is now scientific department of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences in Varazdin.
