Varazdin Town Hall

One of the most impressive attractions is certainly Varazdin Town Hall. This stone house on the main square was donated by George Brandenburg in 1523 to the city. Since then, it has not changed its purpose and is among the oldest in Europe. After the great fire the building was renewed by the Johann Taxner in 1793. Facade and the tower was reconstructed in early classicist style by Franciscus Lossert. City emblem with angel figure is an additional hall decoration.
