Osijek's old town, Tvrđa which was built in 1687 and later until mid 18th century, once had huge walls, bastions, all around it and four gates leading in it. Today only a part of the walls remained and one gates, the Water Gates that are under reconstruction which is to be finished till december 2010. After that a part of the walls will be reconstructed also.
